Built on site, not in a boardroom.
I spent years on the approvals and compliance side of major Australian infrastructure: linear projects, hundreds of conditions, environmental obligations spread across consents, licences and management plans. The work of proving compliance was always the same — chase the field for photos, rebuild the story in a spreadsheet, hope nothing was missed when the auditor arrived.
claused. is the tool I kept wishing existed: the record built in the field as work happens, filed against the conditions it evidences, audit-ready by default. I onboard every early access site personally — if you register, the person you hear from is me.
What we believe
Compliance is not a spreadsheet updated on Friday. It is what actually happened on site, captured when it happened. Software that ignores the field is just prettier paperwork.
Every approval hands a site hundreds of obligations. A record that is not connected to the condition it evidences is a photo in a folder. Connected, it is a defence.
Everything claused. captures is shaped by one question: will this stand up when someone independent asks to see it? If the answer is yes, the audit is a formality.
Where it's at
claused. is in early access, free while we build it with the first sites on board. The field app captures inspections, observations, incidents and permits; the workspace turns them into registers and per-condition audit packs. You can walk through a full fixture site in the live demo right now.
